It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Thursday, January 13, 2022 Effie "Maud" Green age 89 years of Centreville.
Predeceased by the love of her life, husband Fred; son Robert; daughter Beatrice; parents Aubrey and Sylvia Cutler; adoptive parents Hedley and Dorcas Brown; grandsons Cyril and Stephen; granddaughter Monique; great-grandson Christopher; great-granddaughters Julia and Matty; sister Violet; brothers Tom and Martin; sons-in-law Robert Winter and Stephen Starkes; and brothers-in-law Robert Hunt, Leonard Brown and James Noble.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Hedley (Gloria) of Centreville, Elisha (Yvonne) of Valleyfield, Randy (Viola) of Centreville and Rodney (Neta) of Coburg, ON.; daughters Ethel of Pool's Island, Josephine of Wareham, Gloria (Harry), Margo (Robert) of Trinity, Rexine (Tom) of Hare Bay, June (Warren) of England and Sylvia (Brian) of Ruthven, ON.; daughter-in-law Linda of Valleyfield; brothers Donald Cutler (Rose) of Centreville and Enos Brown (Daisy) of Centreville; sisters Minnie Noble (Andrew) of Centreville and Trixie Brown of Cook's Harbour; sisters-in-law Phyllis Cutler, Ann Cutler and Annie Green; 31 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Public visitation by invitation only will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove and will be restricted to one household bubble visiting at one time. Friday 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.; Saturday 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.
Funeral service by invitation only will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Centreville.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Maud's memory may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville.
