It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one Matthias Rogers known to all as Mac/Matt on July 22nd, 2019 in the comfort of his home as he wished. Matt was 73 years of age. Predeceased by his father Leonard Mackenzie Rogers; Grandparents Rebecca and Matthias Rogers and Jessie and Edgar John Brown.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother Hannah; wife Pearl; Daughters Sherry-Lynn (Blair) and Tara (Roger); Sister Margaret (Sam); Brothers Stewart (Carolyn), and Mackenzie (Carrie); Grandchildren Sydney (Chris), Braden, Dylan, Dustin, Courtney; Great Grandchildren Charley and Ryder; and a circle of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Matt's memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or Daffodil Place, St. John's. Donation cards can be found at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville during visitation.

Matt will always be remembered for his love for his family and friends, his kind heartedness and his witty sense of humour.

Visitation will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville Thursday 2 -4 p.m.

Family Service Thursday 6:30 p.m.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, July 26th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville.

Family and friends are invited for a cup of tea at the Church Hall, Centreville, following the service.
