It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Mary Starkes age 84 years of Pool's Island.

Predeceased by parents; Albert and Florence Wright, husbands; Stanley Hoyles and Roland Starkes, son; Jerry Hoyles and daughter-in-law; Donna Hoyles.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons; Ricky (Judy) of Pool's Island, Jerry of Mount Pearl, daughters; Peggy (Keith Blanchard) of Paradise, Vicki (John Kean) of Pool's Island, brother; George Wright (Sharon) of Gander, sisters; Grace (John Kelloway) of Orangeville, Ont. , Maxine (Doug Fifield) of CBS, grandchildren; Tracy Blanchard, Amy Knee (Steve), Jillian Hunt (Dave), Ashley McAndrews, Brett Hoyles (Hayley), Spencer Kean, great- grandchildren; Mila Connolly, Everett McAndrews, Lucas Hunt, Jack Knee and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.

Visitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 3 P.M. – 6:30 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Terry Caines officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Pool's Island.
