It is will great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, NL, Mary Ann Pickett age 98 years.

Predeceased by her husband Edwin Pickett; parents John and Sarah Hounsell; son-in law Gerald Feltham; grandson Rocky Waterman; great-grandson Mitchell Feltham.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 8 children, Herbert Pickett (Mae), Cordelia Feltham, Rex Pickett (Ella), Elizabeth Greig (Alexander), Dora Brown (Roland), Eileen Hunt (David), Lionel Pickett and Carl Pickett (Kelly); 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Mary Ann was well known for her love of music and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, picking berries, playing darts and bingo. She especially enjoyed company and loved to share a few laughs.

Visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M. and  on

Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 11 A.M. - 6 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 2 P.M. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. Maxine Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at St. Barnabas Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville, NL.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Pickett Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
