It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Monday, February 27, 2017 Martin Humphries age 67 years of Wesleyville.
Predeceased by his parents Carman and Johannah Humphries, sister Anne Knight, brother Lester Humphries, father-in-law Harvey Jacobs, mother-in-law Margaret Jacobs, sister-in-law Margaret Humphries and special family dog Niao. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 44 years Elizabeth of Wesleyville, daughters Nancy (Edward) of Gander and Angie (Terry) of Gander, brothers Ray (Joyce) of Lumsden, Jake (Ada) of Wesleyville and Len of Gander, sisters Marg (Irv) of Gander and Emma (Don) of St. John's, brother-in-law Paul Knight of Mt. Pearl, grandchildren Kennedy Kean (Aaron) and Ethan Humphries and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service to take place at Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. As an expression of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland & Labrador. No flowers by request.
