Obituary

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Marjorie Neta (Abbott) Dyke announce her passing at James Peyton Memorial Hospital on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 80.

She was the daughter of the late Augustus and Fanny (Burton) Abbott. A loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd, daughter-in-law Sandi, and siblings Eric and Daphne.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, brother Robert (Peggy) Abbott, her children Carole Ann (Paul Abbott), Grant (June), Kent, and Lisa (Kevin Gill), grandchildren Andrew (Sara), Tyler (Heather), Terry (Chelsea), Jenna (Quinton), Cameron (Amber), Austin (Lauren), Kendra (Riley), and Ethan. Nanny Marj to great grandchildren August, Sunny, Grayson, Felix, Laine, and Lydia. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hillcrest Manor for their kind and compassionate care over the last 4 years.

Public visitations will take place on Friday, December 13th from 2pm - 4pm from Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service for immediate family only will take place on Saturday, December 14th at 11am from Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour with Mrs. Grace Mouland officiating. Inurnment to follow from The United Church Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour.
