It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Thursday, October 20, 2016 Manuel Arthur West age 86 years of Lumsden.

Predeceased by his parents; Eli and Emily (Stokes) West, sister and brother-in-law; Rita and Charlie Stokes, sister-in-law; Joan West. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Emma (Whalen), son; Lawrence (Karen Kean) of Deadman's Bay, daughters; Joan (Bernard Parsons) of Paradise, Glenda (Duane Winsor) of St. John's, Dale (Dewaine Alexandre) of Grande Prairie, AB, Marilyn (Edward Zacharuk ) of Calgary, AB, Deanne (Mike Murray) of Grande Prairie, AB, brothers; Fred of Lumsden, Morris ( Beatrice) of Mount Pearl, grandchildren; Gene, Cindy, Cory, Matthew, Mike, Mitchell, Vanessa, Victoria, Nancy, Jeannine, Colby, Amanda and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations in Manuel's memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
