It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, NL, Maisie Wright age 86 years of Lumsden, NL

Resting peacefully at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove, NL

Maisie was predeceased by parents Walter and Bertha Goodyear, step-mother Myrtle Goodyear, Husband of more that 50 years, Harvey Wright and brothers Lorenzo Goodyear (Ida) and Raymond Goodyear.

Maisie had an extensive family of people who loved her very dearly and will mourn her loss deeply. Among them are her only son Barry (Linda) and their three children, Melissa (Michael) of Cudahy, WI, Paula (Steven) of Lumsden, and Robert (Sherry) of Lumsden.  Step-sister Cheryl (Bruce) of Fall River, NS and step-brother Clyde of Columbus, Ohio.
Maisie was quite fortunate in life as she was blessed with knowing her 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. And a large circle of family and friends.

Maisie has been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother.
This wonderful lady has blessed many, many lives and will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Visitation  for public will start on Wednesday, January 17, 2024  2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and  7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Doug Hnatiuk officiating. Interment to follow at The Pentecostal Cemetery, Valleyfiled.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to The NL Cancer Care Foundation or to The Ronald McDonald House.
