It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, February 20, 2023 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Lindburgh Rideout age 74 years of Newtown, NL

Predeceased by his parents Chesley and Alfreda Rideout; brother Gordon Rideout (Olive); sister Alice Norman; nephews Fred Rideout and James Norman Jr.; brother-in-law Gerald Burry.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Elizabeth; daughters Darlene Hoyles (Grant) of Pound Cove, Pamela Bemister (Kevin) of Musgrave Harbour and Sandra Rideout (Kirk Willis) of Newtown; grandchildren John Norris (Katlyn), Brandon Bemister (Tristen), Natasha Bemister, Lucas and Avery Willis; great-grandson Cohen Norris; sister Reta Burry of Valleyfield; brother-in-law James Norman of Mt. Pearl; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

At Lindburgh's request cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. (Family and Friends) with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent-Bungay officiating.

Inurnment at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Lindburgh's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
