It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Thursday, October 29, 2020 Lewis Gabriel Oakley age 85 years of Wesleyville.

Predeceased by his parents Alban and Leah Oakley; step-mother Irene Oakley; son Johnny; brothers Ralph and Carl; sisters Esther and Margaret.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Beulah (nee Abbott); daughter Joy of Gander; sons Roger (Valerie) of Musgrave Harbour, Danny (Susan) of Ontario, Guy (Joanne) of Wesleyville, Darrin (Wanda) of Badger's Quay, Jimmy of Wesleyville; daughter-in-law Gail of Ontario; sisters Frances (Jim Cox) of Wesleyville, Nellie (Evan Richards) of Ontario; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends near and far.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations funeral service will be by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Lewis' memory may be made to St. John Anglican Cemetery, Wesleyville.
