It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Anthony Leonard Joy at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the age 81 years of Musgrave Harbour, NL.

Predeceased by parents Anthony and Alice, sisters Carol and Pat.

Survived by wife Phyllis, brothers Larry(Gyla), Randy(Ruth), sister Kathleen(Darcy), children Keith(Leanne), Donna(Jim), Rhonda, Cindy(Mo), Bonnetta(Brian), grandchildren Crystal, Aidan, Trinity, Quinn, Vale, Kaylin, Torrran, Logan, Kevin, Eve, Taryn, Samantha and Carlyn and great grandchild Felix.

To my wonderful husband. Thank you for a wonderful 31 years. Everyday you made my life full. Thank you for the laughter.  Thank you for those moments of complete joy. Thank you for your strong shoulders. You were an amazing husband, father, brother, son who will forever be in our hearts.  I will miss our long talks. I will miss our time together. I will miss holding your hand but I know my love, I will again.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 7 - 9 p.m. (Family); Monday, September 15, 2025 from 7 - 9 p.m. (Public) & Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 7 - 9 p.m. (Public).

Funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Major Hedley Bungay officiating. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.
