Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Saturday, April 3, 2021 Leonard Fitzpatrick Brown age 78 years of Centreville.

Predeceased by his parents Sybil and Wilfred Brown; sister Mae Gent; brother Clarence Brown (Marjorie); brothers-in-law Walter Rogers and Robert Tulk.

Leaving to mourn are his sons Morley (Theresa) of Pasadena and Mervyn (Marlene) of Centreville; daughter Maria Collins (Bernard) of Centreville; grandchildren Melissa, Christopher, Tyson, Kyle, Zachary and Brooke; great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Declan, Lochlyn and Laney; his common-law spouse Robena Ball; her children Darryl Ball (Kim), Jeff Ball (Shirley), Deanna Pickett (Roger) and their son Bradley;  brothers Bob (Marguerite) of Centreville and Enos (Daisy) of Centreville; sisters Susie Rogers of Wareham, Geraldine Tulk of Newtown and Elaine Ackerman of Labrador; brother-in-law Norman Gent of California; several nieces, nephews and an large circle of other relatives and friends.

Following COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 1 - 5 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Leonard's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
