With great sadness and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Thursday, June 22, 2023 Leonard Ralph Blackwood age 69 years of Wareham.

Predeceased by his mother Ethel Blackwood; and brother Mason Blackwood.

Leonard leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marilyn; daughters Jerri (Sean Cole) of Whitby, ON., Julie (Corey Mitchell) of Mt. Pearl and Jaime Blackwood (Steven Lang) of Indian Bay; his father Gerald Blackwood of Gander; loving grandchildren Gabriel, Porter, Ethan, Eva-Rae, Blake and Emily; brother Larry Blackwood (Joyce) of Brookfield; sisters Charity (Byron Woolfrey) of Gander, Meta (Eric Hann) of Valleyfield, Carol (Keith Kean) of Gander, Pamela (Roger Perry) of Newtown, Sandra (Lorne Melindy) of Gander, Amanda (Neil Parsons) of Gander and Jill (Tim Hayward) of Gander; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at St.John The Baptist Anglican Church, Wareham, Wednesday, June 28, 7pm - 9pm

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 2pm with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Internment will follow from St.John The Baptist Anglican Cemetery, Wareham.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
