It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 Leon Margaret Stagg age 85 years of Cape Freels.

Predeceased by her parents George and Louisa Goodyear; son Larry; brothers James, Abraham and Mark Goodyear; sister Trixie Goodyear.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Edgar; daughter Hilda (Edwin Gray) of Lumsden; grandchildren April (Greg), Wendy, Chad (Jenny), Dawn (Mike), Joy (Brandon), Kayla (C.J.) and Joshua (Rebecca); great-grandchildren Megan, Rebecca, Rachel, Tristen, Emily, Charles, Colby, Alyssa, Jason, Chloe and Sarah; great-great-grandchildren Hope, Gabriel and Juliette; daughter-in-law Judy Stagg of Cape Freels; sister Julie Bowns (Donald) of Grand Falls; sister-in-law Irene Goodyear of Lumsden; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

At Leon's request cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, January 5, 2021 at 2pm. Memorial service will be by invitation only and in accordance to COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines. As a friendly reminder, please have your Vaxpass available upon request.
