It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, February 27, 2023 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Lena May Rogers age 88 years of Pool's Island, NL

Predeceased by her husband Eric; parents George and Ethel Winters; parents in-law William and Gladys Rogers; brothers Roland Winters (Ula), Maxwell Winters and Walter Winters; brothers in-law Samuel Wilkins, William Freake and Hal Isnor; sister in-law Lily Griffen (Ronald).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Paul Rogers (Juanita) of Badger's Quay; daughters Sheila Kean (Tony) of Badger's Quay, Sherry Hicks (Gary) of Bonavista and Shelly Hawco (Gordon) of Mt. Pearl; grandchildren Joshua Kean (Maria), Lesley Kean, Erica Howell (Jordon), James Hawco and Jackson Hawco; great- grandchildren Arya Spurrell and Addison Spurrell; brother George Winter (Gloria) of Topsail; sisters Verna Isnor of Woodstock, NB., Susie Wilkins of Gander and Jessie Freake of Gander; sisters in-law Yvonne Forsey (Albert), Arlene Winters and Mary Winters; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Family Only)

Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 8 P.M. (Public) & 8 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Family Only)

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Pool's Island.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Lena's memory to The Rogers Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
