It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Lemuel Pickett age 81 years of Centreville.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Lena Pickett; sister Betty (Eric) Thomas; brothers Max (Bessie), Howard, Sylvester (Marie), Fredrick and Willis.

Left to mourn with broken hearts his wife of 61 years, Greta; sons Hayward (Colette) and Clifford (Tanya); special grandson Tristan; brothers Harold (Jane) and Rich (Charity); sister Victoria; brother in-law Wallace (Sharon); sisters in-law Eileen, Harriet, Ruth, Pauline and Elizabeth; many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends, especially Fair Island friends.

At Lemuel's request cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Lemuel's memory may be made to the Pickett family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.
