It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at her residence on Friday, May 15, 2020 Joy Janice Ackerman age 66 years of Centreville.

Predeceased by her parents Amelia and Abi Pickett; parents-in-law Beatrice and John Ackerman; brother Boyce; infant sister Elsie.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Calvin; son Cleo (Grace) of Labrador City; grandchildren Tyler Ackerman (Hillary) of Wareham and Adrian Ackerman of Labrador City; great-grandchildren Sawyer and Jackie; sister Joan Ackerman (Harry) of Centreville; brother Pat Anstey (Marie) of Centreville; several nieces, nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Due to the recent advisory regarding COVID-19, there will be no public visitation or funeral at this time.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date when COVID – 19 restrictions have been lifted.  We appreciate your support at this difficult time, the health and safety of family, general public and staff is very important.
