Passed peacefully away surrounded by family and loved ones on September 27th 2015 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Joseph Wellon, of Ladle Cove, in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his brothers Everett Wellon (Dorothy), Arthur Wellon (Rosie), and Randolph Wellon (Marie); Sister Louise Tulk (Enos).

Left with fond memories are his loving wife of 62 years Madeline; sons Philip Wellon (Bonita) Gander, Monty Wellon (Pauline) Ladle Cove, Dean Wellon (Millicent) Ottawa, Darrin Wellon (Amy) Ladle Cove; Brothers Clifford Wellon (Nina) Gander, Wallace Wellon, Gander; Sisters Doris West (Hardy) Gander, Ivy West (Clary) Gander; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Resting at St. Stephens United Church, Ladle Cove beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, September 28th. from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Major Wilbert Abbott officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church cemetery Ladle Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Stephens United Church, Ladle Cove.

Pallbearers are Sons; Philip, Monty, Dean, and Darrin. Grandsons; Mackenzie, and Joshua.
