It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Center, Brookfield on Saturday, December 18, 2021 Samuel "John" Hunt age 76 years of Indian Bay.

Predeceased by his parents Mary Jane and Samuel Hunt; wife Geraldine Hunt; sister Doris Hunt; brothers-in-law Percy Bungay and Kenneth Pickett.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Vondale Cook (Andy) of Centreville; grandchildren Zachary (Mikaela) and Victoria; sisters Eunice (John Cook) of Indian Bay, Clara Bungay of Wareham, Ruby (Richard Parsons) of Indian Bay and Wanda Pickett of Indian Bay; brothers Jesse Hunt (Susie) of Indian Bay, Wilfred Hunt (Irene) of Indian Bay, Peter Hunt of Indian Bay, Clyde Hunt of GrandFalls-Windsor, Tony Hunt (Chloe) of Wareham and Terry Hunt of Indian Bay; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00  p.m.

Funeral service will take place at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Indian Bay on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Indian Bay.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in John's memory may be made to the family.
