It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on June 3, 2015 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, John Herbert Gill age 84 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by his 1st wife Joan Wheeler; 2nd wife Daphne Way; parents George and Ursula Harris; brother Melvin. Leaving to mourn are his step-sons Lorne Bungay(Roberta) of Newtown and Rex Bungay(Joscelyn) of Newtown; step-daughter Joan Gill(Bruce) of Newtown; brother-in-law Frank Way(Hazel) of Newtown; sisters-in-law Nellie Gill of Corner brook, Sadie Barbour of St. John's and Doris Barbour of Newtown; grandchildren Juanita, Dion, Sharene, Deanne and Kerri; great-grandchildren Jodi, Amanda, Cameron, Emma, Sarah, Samuel, Katie and Julia; great-great-grandchild Zoie; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from where his funeral service will take place on Friday, June 5 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at the Trinity United Church Cemetery, Newtown . No Flowers by request
