It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 Jesse Blackmore age 84 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by wife; Ina, sons; Leo and Donovan, parents; Ephriam and Jane Blackmore, brother; Taylor, sisters; Marina and Marjorie.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are;  his special friend; Marcie Abbott,son; Gerald (Susan Hicks) of Newtown, daughters; Debbie of Ontario, Elizabeth (Gary Vincent) of Newtown, Joy of Alberta, brothers; Harland (Marion) of Nova Scotia, Jim of Wesleyville, sisters; Sue (Junior Stokes) of Gander, Linda (Wayne Parsons) of Alberta, Avril (Harry Attwood) of Badger's Quay, grandchildren; Juanita (Danny Goodyear), Michael Vincent, Debbie (Craig St. Dennis), Crystal (Shane Sheppard), Charlotte (Ryan Stroud), Denver Delorme and Keira Behrens, great-grandchildren; Tyson, Hayley, Brayden, Makayla, Jessie, Daxon, Oceane, Kaden, Logan, Summer and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 7 P.M. - 8 P.M. (Family) and  8 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Public), Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and  7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2pm at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Anglican cemetery, Newtown.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Jesse's memory to The Blackmore family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
