It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce that we have lost such a strong, courageous and beautiful daughter, Jenny Natasha Barbour on July 14, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre, St.John's, at the age of 38 years.
Predeceased by grandparents; Thomas Barbour, Baxter and Margaret Hoyles and Horwood Howell, uncles; Roger Howell, Allan Hounsell and Calvin Blagdon, aunt; Elaine Hoyles, her Janeway friends; Dr. Debbie Reid, Candace McKenna and Brandon Howlett and high school friend; Jeremy Cross.
Leaving with lots of fond and loving memories are her parents; Roxann and Sheldon Howell and Grant and Darlene Hoyles, sister; Natasha (Justin) Brown, grandmothers; Doris Barbour and Laura Howell, Goddaughter; Adison Barbour, stepbrother; John Curtis Norris (Katilyn), nephews; Logan and Xander Brown and Cohen Norris. Joyce Humphries (her second mom), other caregivers, aunts and uncles, cousins, her Janeway family and a large circle of friends.
Born on January 12, 1984 at Brookfield hospital, little did we know what a strong and courageous little girl you would be to take on the world with your disability and the challenges you had to face but at 38 years, you have beaten the odds and have shown us that with lots of love, care, determination and the will to live...You could do and you " Did it ". You have taught us so much.
Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove
Sunday 10am - 12noon (Family), 2pm - 4pm (Public) & 7pm - 9pm
Monday 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 8pm(Public) & 8pm - 9pm(Family)
Please join us in Jenny's celebration of life which will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11am at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Anglican cemetery, Pound Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
