Jean Abbott of Musgrave Harbour entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2022 just shy of her 92th birthday at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre surrounded by family.

She was predeceased by her husband Eugene, parents Charles and Pearl Mouland, sisters Maude King, Gertrude O'Neil, Grace Stadelbauer and Kathleen Hicks.

She will live on in the lives of her children: Allan (Margaret), Joyce (Winston) Mouland, Myra (Raymond) Mouland, Lillian (Jeremy) Decker, Sophie (Kevin) Wright and Fred (Lynn); grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 4, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 7:00PM - 9:00 PM.

The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour, on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00 PM with Major William Kean officiating.  Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Musgrave Harbour.

Mom, we loved you beyond measure and appreciate the love you have always shown us.  Making each of us feel special.  You have taught us well.  We will always cherish our memories and remember your words "always be good to each other and look out to each other."
