It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Janet Chaulk announce her passing on, August 21, 2025 at the age of 92, at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander.
Janet is predeceased by her first husband Garland Goodyear and second husband Jack Chaulk; her parents George and Elizabeth Coles; brothers Simon, Nelson, Wilson and Gordon; sister Lenore; son in law Edgar Mouland, daughter in law Viola Goodyear, and grandson Perry Goodyear.
Left to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories are her daughter Ivy of Musgrave Harbour, Jerry(Kathy) of Marystown, Wade(Bernice) of Deadman's Bay, Perry(Susan) of Roberts Arm, stepdaughter Roxanne of Gander; grandchildren Janette(Corey), Clifford(Stacy), Shelley(Neil), Justin(Amanda), Jerry(Rachel), and Amanda(Marcel) 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sister Floss, brothers Lloyd(Donna) and Lindsay(Pearl), special nephew Jeff(Cindy) and many other nieces and nephews who she had a special place in her heart for each and everyone of them.
Janet enjoyed the simple things in life, knitting, cooking, making bread, berry picking, out for a drive and having company visit her. Most of all Janet loved and enjoyed her family, she loved everyone equally, she was the center of her family and the glue that kept us together.
The family would like to extend a very special and sincere thanks to the staff of Hillcrest Manor. Janet lived there for a little over 3 years, the staff were always good to her, but they went over and above in the last few months during her sickness, and for that we are forever grateful. She always said "I love all the girls".
