Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, Mr. James Steele of Musgrave Harbour in his 84th year. Pre-deceased by his parents Nathan and Amelia, sister Miriam McCallum and grand nephew Nathanael Steele.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Gertrude of 63yrs, son Lane(Norma) of Paradise, three daughters Sonia Parsons(Rex) of Musgrave Harbour, Anne Lawrence(Louie) of Pasadena, Carolyn Steele(Brian) of Mount Pearl, brother George(Mae) of Musgrave Harbour, sister Doreen Guy(Norman) of Musgrave Harbour, 8 grandchildren Kirk, Jillian, Mitchell, Annette, Matthew, Natalie, Stephanie, Laurie, 4 great-grandchildren Krista, Sydney, Kinsley, Caleb. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 19th at 11am with Majors Barb and Bill Pearce officiating. Interment to follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Harbour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice or to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Musgrave Harbour.
