It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's, James Gill age 83 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by parents; Walter and Amelia Gill, wife; Lillian (Perry), brother; Charles and sister; Cassie.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son; James Perry Gill, sisters; Mona, Emily, Holly and a large number of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Diabetes Canada.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2 pm at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent-Bungay officiating. Inurnment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Newtown.
