It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at the Dr. Y K Jeon Kittiwake Health Care Centre in Brookfield on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.  Mr. James Wesley Abbott of Ragged Harbour in his 88th year.

Pre-deceased by his parents Benjamin and Rhoda, daughter Wanda Walsh, grandson Draper Fahey, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Betty of 60years.  Two sons Owen(Suzette) of Musgrave Harbour, Jamie(Leanne) of Carmanville, five daughters Janice Chaulk(Glen) of Deadman's Bay, Judy Fahey(Phonse) of Musgrave Harbour, Roxanne Walsh(Bernard) of  Paradise, Geraldine Stokes(Dennis) of Deadman's Bay, Gloria Boorse(Shawn) of Columbus, Ohio, son-in-law Neil Walsh of Paradise, two brothers Ned Abbott and Chesley Abbott both of Musgrave Harbour, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a  number of nephews and nieces and also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 26th at 2pm from The Pentecostal Church in Musgrave Harbour with Pastor Henry Sansome officiating. Interment to follow from The Pentecostal Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour.  Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in his memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
