It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Friday, November 5, 2021 Howard  Pickett (AKA Gussy, by his son Howie) age 70 years of Centreville.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Lena Pickett, sister Betty Thomas (Eric), brother Maxwell Pickett (Bessie), brother in-law Daniel Hunt, and step son David Follett Jr.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his common law-wife and buddy Pauline, dad's girl Candy (ruff, ruff), son Howie of Wabush, daughter Bobbi-Joe of Wabush, step-daughters Deidre Follett and Sandra Blake, brothers Harold (Jane), Lemuel (Greta), Richard (Charity), Sylvester (Marie), sister Victoria, grandchildren Jordan Lee, Scott (Lindsey), Noah, Hallie, Harley, Mackenzie, great-grandchildren Jayda, Travis, Kaylee, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, fellow school bus drivers and student's from Labrador West where he was a school bus driver for many years, before retiring to his home in Centerville in 2012, where he spent his happy days with his best half Pauline and Candy. Howard loved to cut wood and enjoyed the outdoors.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home Pound Cove on Tuesday November 9, 2021 from 5 P.M - 8 P.M.

In keeping with Howard's wishes, Cremation has taken place.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Howard's memory to The Pickett/Follett Family C/O Pauline Follett. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.

Visitation will be in accordance with Covid -19  recommendations and guidelines.  As a friendly reminder please have your VaxPass available upon request.
