It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's, Horwood Howell age 87 years of Pound Cove, NL.

Predeceased by son; Roger, parents; George and Josephine Howell, sisters; Eleanor (Arthur), Emma (Stanley), Marjorie (Jesse), Lillian (Archibald), Olive (Edward), brothers; Frederick and Charles (Shirley), brothers-in-law; Eric Stokes and Percy Jefferies.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife; Laura, children; Pauline (Paul), Sheldon (Roxann), Holly (Woodrow), Lorri (Shannon), daughter-in-law; Sharon, grandchildren; Steven (Shelley), Jenny, Krystal (Steve), Kayla (Matthew), Curtis (Melissa), Jennifer (Mike), Natasha (Justin), Davina (Adam), Kyle (Emily), and Jonah, great grandchildren; Brooklin, Farrah, Madison, Kadin, Chase, Jack, Patricia, Krosby, Bennett, Logan, Xander, Lyneah and Makenna, sister; Leah, sister-in-law Maggie and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation by invitation only will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from 12 P.M.  -  1  P.M. (Family) 1 P.M. - 4 P.M. (Public) and 7 P.M.  -  9 P.M. (Public)

Funeral service by invitation only will take place at Trinity United Church, Newtown on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 12 P.M. with Rev. Roberta Vincent-Bungay and Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment will follow at St. Thomas United Cemetery, Pound Cove.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Horwood's memory to The Howell family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.

Visitation and Funeral service will be in accordance to Covid-19 recommendations and guidelines.
