It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Heber Baxter Goodyear age 71 years of Lumsden.

Predeceased by his parents Marshall and Letsie Goodyear; sisters Betty Wakely and Alice Goodyear; brothers Charlie Goodyear and Jackie Goodyear; brothers-in-law Neil Wakely , Colin Pond and Reuben Humphries.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Ryan(Joshua) of St. John's; brother Billy(Jeanette) of Lumsden; sisters Irene Humphries of Badger's Quay, Pearl Wakely of Brookfield, Flossie Burton(Job) of Robert's Arm, Irene Pond of Badger's Quay and Charmaine Welcher(Ray) of Badger's Quay; brother-in-law Norman Wakely; uncle Seymour and aunt Hazel Goodyear of Lumsden; several nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations visitation, funeral and burial will be by invitation only.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon followed by the funeral service officiated by Rev. Larry Noseworthy. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Lumsden South.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Heber's memory may be made to The Goodyear Family in c/o Mr. Ryan Goodyear.
