It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother and sister; Hazel Coles age 76 years of Carmanville on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander.

Predeceased by her husband Wilson; parents James and Lydia Leyte; sister Alma and brother Howard.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 5 sons Rodney (Amanda), Randal (Tammy-Lee), Quentin (Kayla), Jamie (Carollynn), Shane (Brittany); her 3 daughters Sheila (Craig), Trina (Elvis), Vanessa (Sheldon) and her greatest joy 9 grandkids Austin, Mckayla (Robert), Brady, Chloe, Christian, Alexis, Zoey, Sebastian and Zack; 1 sister Florence; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Hazel loved her cat "Midnight" and had a great love for flowers.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, there will be no public visitation or funeral.

Private visitation (family only) will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. from The Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville officiated by Major William Kean.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Hazel's memory may be made to the family.

Masks are required to be worn at all times.  We appreciate your support at this difficult time, the health and safety of family, general public and staff is very important.
