Harry Dunchester Gibbons
April 24, 1949 - January 7, 2022


Harry was many things to the many people who were in his life, and will be remembered fondly.

He was a caring, compassionate son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was a kind person who loved a bingo game, a good book and sharing fun memories and stories. He always had a kind word for anyone in need and was very outspoken, with a gentle demeanor and quiet soul.

He will be deeply missed by all and his memory will live on in those who knew him best.

Harry is predeceased by his parents Cecelia and William Gibbons.  Sisters  Gertrude (Frederick) Brown, Rebecca (Joseph) Wells and Ida Hunt, baby sister Alma May. Brother  Roland Gibbons

Those he is leaving to mourn his passing are his daughters Lisa (Jason) McGrath, Lauralynn Gibbons (Jeff); Amanda Gibbons (Gordie).  Sister  Ella (Rex Pickett) Gibbons, Brother-in-law Samuel Hunt,  Sister-in-law, Christine Gibbons

Harry had Nine grandchildren Cheyenne, Gordie, Darrion, Jessika, Alexis, Natasha, Colby, Jared, Ethan, and five great grandchildren Harper, Carter, Lennyx, Myles and baby Gordie.


He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and numerous friends who will miss him and mourn the loss of a wonderful man.
Family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Towers, St. John's for their care and support shown to Harry during his stay.
At Harry's request cremation will take place.
Inurnment at St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Trinity will be held at a later date.
