It is with devastating sadness that the family of The Late Harry Sheppard, age 71 years of Lumsden, announce his sudden passing on January 14, 2021, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Effie Sheppard, sisters Jane Janes and Edie Hounsell and father-in-law Newman Stokes.

Leaving to mourn with heartfelt and loving memories are his wife Verna, daughter Gina (Doug Ash) of Gander, son Dean and grandchildren Jack, Zoey, Ben and Jane, as well as his brothers Roland (June) and Gordon (Sylvia) and sisters Grace Sheppard and Sadie Butler. Also leaving to mourn are his mother-in-law Mabel Stokes, brothers-in-law Earl Stokes (Sue Boone), Leslie Stokes (Wally), Danny Stokes (Margaret), Ernest Stokes (Danette) and Terry Stokes (Tammy), sisters-in-law Louise Barrow (Alvin), Pauline Mouland (Morrison) and Kim McLean (Clyde) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Harry ( Har as he was best known), will be missed by all who knew him, including his coffee buddies but especially by his family.

To honour his wishes, there will be no funeral service and cremation will take place.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and recommendations, visitation will be by invitation only.

Visitation for close family will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 3 P.M. - 5 P.M.
