It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, NL. Greta Marie Sturge age 89 years of Brookfield.

Predeceased by her parents; Lester and Edith Best, husband; Stanley, infant daughter; Janet, grandson; Clydie and brothers-in-law; Wilbur Adams and Harley Ballett.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son; Wayne Sturge (Cavelle) of Cape Freels, daughters; Bertha (Garland Oram) of Dover, Linda (Clyde Hounsell) of Pound Cove and Jeanette (Elvis Welcher) of Brookfield, brother; Gerald Stockley (Wendy) of North Napanee, Ontario, sister; Elrita Adams of Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, grandchildren; Joey (Roxanne), Dave (Pam), Melissa (Dwayne), Angela (Calvin), Dwayne (Natalie), Nathaniel (Vanessa), Cameron (Victoria), Glenda (Tyler) and Robbie (Ashley), 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; Linken, Demetri and Lena, sister-in-law; Leona Ballett of Scarborough, Ontario, brother-in-law; Edward Sturge (Carrie) of Grand Falls-Windsor and a large circle of other family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on

Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2pm - 3pm (Family Only) & 3pm - 5pm (Public)

Monday, 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm

Tuesday, 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2 pm at Ebenezer United Church, Brookfield with Rev. George Kean officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church cemetery, Brookfield.

As an expression of sympathy and in her memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the United Church Cemetery, Brookfield.
