It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Friday, December 5, 2025, Gordon  Brown age 61 years of Wesleyville, NL.

Predeceased by his son Jason; his parents, Gordon and Cavell Brown; his brother Lloyd; and his sister, Ruby; nephew Johnathan and nieces Kelly and Kim.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Susan; daughter Kristy (Shayne); son Gregory (Melissa); and his precious grandchildren, Gabe, Benjamin, and his princess Spencer, whom he adored and was endlessly proud of; brother David; and sister Judy (Ed); Gord also leaves behind his beloved dog Max, who was his constant companion.

Gord truly valued his relationship with his nephew Darrin (Becky) and their children, Logan, Leah, and Liam who will miss him dearly; brother in law Wayne;  sister in law Louise; he also leaves to mourn Susan's s isters and brothers Peggy, Wanda (Jim); Leo (Bonnie), Jesse (Joyce) and Derick (Paula) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Gord will be remembered for his big heart, sharp humour, and the straightforward, no-nonsense way he lived his life. He was rough around the edges at times, but those who knew him best understood that beneath that exterior was someone fiercely loyal, deeply devoted, and always willing to show up when it mattered. His stories, his laugh, and his honest—often boldly honest—opinions will be missed by all who knew him.

As per Gord's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or service at this time.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Brown Family.
