Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Sunday, January 28, 2018, Mr. Gordon Roland Abbott of Musgrave Harbour in his 72nd year. Pre-deceased by his parents Laud and Alma Abbott and grandson Jeffrey.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Blanche, one son Monty(Tina) of Wesleyville, five daughters Angeline Abbott(Todd) of Glovertown, Paula Cuff(Darren) of Musgrave Harbour, Paulette Rogers(Jerry) of Musgrave Harbour, Kathy Butcher(Dave) of Musgrave Harbour, Lela Abbott(Jim) of Musgrave Harbour, one brother Cyril(Mable) of Musgrave Harbour, one sister Cavell Hicks(Sandy) of Musgrave Harbour, nine grandchildren D.J., Jonathan, Tyler, Shannon, Samantha, Zachary, Devon, Dylan, Jimmy, three great-grandchildren Lexi-Jo, Benjamin, London. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 31st at 2pm from The Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour with Captains Tim and Laura Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow from The Salvation Army Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted and donations may be made to the family.
