It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Monday, September 6, 2021 in his home at Badger's Quay, Gladstone Stratton age 70 years .

Predeceased by his parents; Eldon and Mary Stratton, sister; Nancy, parents-in-law; Hector and Maude King, brother-in-law; Hayward Hunt and nephew; Tyler Stokes

Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife; Mary (nee King), son; Mark ( Rebecca Penton) of Torbay, daughter; Gertie Sheppard-Gill (Brent Gill) of New-Wes-Valley, brothers; Hayward (Marian) of Gander, Jim (Peggy) of New-Wes-Valley, John (Annette) of Cape Freels, sisters; Susie (Hubert) of New-Wes-Valley, Ida (Guy) of New-Wes-Valley, Donna (Hubert) of New-Wes-Valley, Theresa of New-Wes-Valley, Jill (Whitefield) of Cape Freels, grandson; Finley Stratton and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 12:30 P.M - 2 P.M (Family Only) 2 P.M - 6 P.M (Family and Friends) Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. (Family and Friends)

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Memorial United Church, Valleyfield with Rev. Daka officiating assisted by Rev. George Kean . Inurnment will follow at Memorial United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Gladstone's memory  may be made to the Stratton family ,they will decide on monetary disbursements at a later date.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be in accordance to COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines.
