It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, September 20, 2021 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Gladstone Best age 92 years of Wesleyville.

Predeceased by his wife Audrey of 64 years, brothers; Bill (Neta), Clyde (Lily), Alex (Ella), Albert, sisters; Millicent (Robert),Alicia (Baxter), Neta and grandson; Dwayne.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons; Raymond (Brenda) of Marystown, Keith (Kathy) of Wesleyville, Rodney (Goldie) of Port Williams, NS. , daughters; Linda (Walter June) of Lumsden, Shirley (Roy) of Glovertown, Lisa (Michael) of Vacaville,CA,USA. brothers; Fred of Clarenville, Bob of St. John's,sisters; Marcella (William) of St. John's, Joyce of St. John's, Irene (Walter) of Badger's Quay, sister-in-law; Marguerite of Wesleyville, grandchildren; Carol, Roy,  Erica, Jonathan, Steven, Cindy, great grandchildren; Felix, Lucas, step-great granddaughter; Carly and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.

Public visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 3 P.M - 5 P.M. and Wednesday, September 22, 2021  at 2 P.M. -  4 P.M.  7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Visitation and Funeral service will be in accordance to COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations.
