It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Thursday, January 17, 2019, Gertrude Brown age 75 years of Centreville. Predeceased by her mother Mary, father Cator and sisters Edith and Annie. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Morley (Theresa) of Pasadena and Mervyn (Marlene) of Centreville, daughter Maria Collins (Bernard) of Centreville, grandchildren Melissa, Christopher, Tyson, Kyle, Zachary and Brooke, great grandchildren Nevaeh, Declan, Lachlyn and Laney, common-law spouse William Smith and his children Garland and Christina and his grandchildren Cassandra, Allison and Dalton, brother Jack Wicks (Florence) of Wareham, sisters Mildred Spurrell (Harry) of Wareham and Vera Pond of St. John's. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 19 at 2 P.M. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Family.

Visitations will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville beginning at 3 P.M. on Friday.
