It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Care Centre, Brookfield on Thursday, January 16, 2020 Gerald Boyd Goodyear age 87 years of Lumsden.

Predeceased by his parents Pearcy and Bertha Goodyear; infant brother Donald.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Effie (nee Stokes) of Lumsden; sons Gerald of Lumsden and Donald (Joanne) of Lumsden; daughter Bertha Mouland (Michael) of  Musgrave Harbour; grandchildren Emily Mouland, Kelsei Goodyear, Gillian Goodyear, Drew Mouland and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Gerald's memory may be made to The Goodyear's Cemetery, Windmill Bight (Lumsden).

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, January 20 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating assisted by Rev. Boyce Parsons. Interment will follow at The Goodyear's Cemetery, Windmill Bight (Lumsden).
