It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Gerald Oliver Abbott age 85 years of Musgrave Harbour. Predeceased by parents; Cecil and Florence Abbott, wife; Marie, brother; Ronald and  sister; Doris Whiteway. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son; Ricky (Velma) of Aspen Cove, sisters; Margaret Stokes of Deadman's Bay, Joan Savard of Ottawa, granddaughters; Richelle, Katelyn (Leslie) and their mom; Shelley and a circle of other relatives and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Wednesday, July 17 at 2 P.M. with Majors Richard and Trudy Mouland officiating and Majors Tim and Laura Jenkins assisting. Inurnment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Gerald's memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Musgrave Harbour
