It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in his residence at Valleyfield, NL, George Winston Winter age 77 years of Valleyfield, NL.

Predeceased by his parents; Leslie and Mary Winter, brothers; Edward, Roland, Herbert, David and Leslie, sisters; Merida, Alma, Leah and Lillian.

Leaving to mourn with beautiful and loving memories are, his wife; Susie, son; Corey (Anne) of Fort McMurrary, Alberta, daughters; Marilyn (Grant Kelloway) of Wesleyville, Marlene ( Sheldon Kelloway) of Wesleyville, brothers; Gregory (Violet) of St. John's, Bruce (Margaret) of St. John's, sister; Lottie (Jack Knee) of Gander, grandchildren; Tyler, Mitchell, Sarah, Ryan , Courtney and a large number of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Family only will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Visitation for Public will take place on Friday, 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Saturday, 2 P.M - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 8 P.M. with a Family Service at 8 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2023 at 2 P.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Internment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican cemetery, Badger's Quay.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in George's memory to The Winter Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
