Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one at his residence in Musgrave Harbour on Thursday, April 12, 2018, Mr. William George Hann in his 73rd year. Pre-deceased by his parents Jethro and Mildred, brother Roger, grandmother Harriet Hann.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Mona of 50yrs, two sons Brad(Denise) of Fort McMurray, AB, Greg(Kristy) of Clearwater, B.C. three brothers Jim(Olive), Harry(Kay), Wade(Sharon) all of Musgrave Harbour, five sisters Margaret(Harry) of Manuels, Judy(Felix) of Gander, Vonnie of Dartmouth, NS, Brenda(Rick) of Falmouth, NS, Paula(Gary) of Musgrave Harbour, three grandchildren Zachery, Jakob and Gracie, brothers-in-law Jack Pinsent (Edith) of Musgrave Harbour and Jim Pinsent (Nicole) of Labrador City and a large number of nieces and nephews. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with George's wishes cremation will take place. Visitations will be at the Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour on Sunday for family and close friends from 7pm - 9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 16th at 2pm from The United Church in Musgrave Harbour with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Inurnment will take place from The United Church Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Daffodil Place.

George William Hann served 30 years with the R.C.A.S.C as a MSE operator. The people he met in the military over the years became his second family.
