It is with great sadness that the family of George Eric Flight age 75 years announce his passing at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Violet Flight; brother Earl; sister Gertrude and brother in-law Eric LeGrow.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Kelly Tackaberry (Mark) of Carmanville, NL; son Cory Flight (Adriane) of Mississauga, ON; ex-wife Judith Wiegert (Mike Wiegert); sister Yvonne LeGrow of Small Point, NL; sister in-law Shirley Flight of Buchans, NL; grandchildren Joseph (Brianne), Christopher (Hayley), Daniel (Allison), Nathan and Lucas; great-grandchildren Danica, Zachary and Jaxon.

Eric was always ready for a good time. He loved to laugh and cared very deeply for his family and large circle of friends. He will be remembered for his humor, work ethic and his love and kind heart.

At families request cremation has taken place.

A celebration of his life will be held this summer, with details to follow.
