It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Center, Brookfield  on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 George Philip Burry age 82 years of Badger's Quay.

Predeceased by his parents Peter Sr. and Maggie (King) Burry; grandparents Joseph and Harriett Burry, Martha and Israel King; brother Israel George (died in infancy); sisters Edith Saunders and Harriett Spurrell; brother Nelson Burry; niece Tina Gates; nephews Wade Oram, Jimmy Saunders and Herbert Oram; brothers-in-law Robert Saunders, Llewellyn Oram, Eric Spurrell, Herbert Oram, Horatio Maher and Seymour Gates; sister-in-law Blanche Burry.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Ella; sons Phillip Burry of Grand Prairie, AB. and Craig Burry (Crystal) of Badger's Quay; daughter Valerie Manuel (Craig) of Valleyfield; grandchildren Mitchell Manuel, Luke Burry, Danica Burry, Landon Burry and Hunter Burry; great-grandchild Theodore Manuel; brothers Peter Burry Jr. (Rita) of Badger's Quay and Robert Burry (Gail) of Ontario; sisters Gladys Maher of Wesleyville, Louisa Aubie (Dale) of Sudbury, ON., Rosalie Gates of Brookfield and Yvonne Howell of Badger's Quay; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

At George's request cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.

As an expression of sympathy donations in George's memory may be made to The Burry Family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.
