It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Frederick John Rideout age 45 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Olive(Gill) Rideout. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Cathy; sons Cody of Musgrave Harbour, Terrence(Desiree) of Clarenville and Joey(Erica) of Red Deer, AB.; daughter Nikita of Newtown; grandchildren Bella, Fallon, Greyson and baby Jackson; brothers Gord(Anne) of Brampton, ON. and Terry(Norma Lynn) of Newtown; parents-in-law Sterling and Naomi Seaward of Gooseberry Cove; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service to take place at Trinity United Church, Newtown on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Newtown. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The Rideout Family.

Gone Fishin'

I've finished life's chores assigned to me,

So put me on a boat headed out to sea.

Please send along my fishing pole

For I've been invited to the fishin' hole.

Where every day is a day to fish,

To fill your heart with every wish.

Don't worry, or feel sad for me,

I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea.

We will miss each other for awhile,

But you will come and bring your smile.

Till we're together you and me.
