It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Dr. Y.K.Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Frederick Howell age 82 years of Pound Cove. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.

Predeceased by his parents Josephine and George Howell; Infant son Frederick; daughter Yolande Vivian; son-in-law Douglas Singer; parents-in-law Melinda and Jesse Hounsell; sisters Eleanor Hunt(Arthur), Marjorie Winter(Jesse), Emma Cooze(Stanley) and Olive Winter(Edward); sister-in-law Shirley Howell; brothers-in-law Arch Norris, Eric Stokes and Percy Jefferies. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 62 years Maggie; sons Derrick(Melanie) of Ajax, ON. and Leon(Cavelle) of Newtown; daughters Eileen Hayward(Raymond) of Labrador City, Sheila King(Gaye) of Valleyfield, Corrine Singer of Halifax, NS., Denise Hann(Bill) of St. John's and Valerie Spurrell(Hubert) of Valleyfield; son-in-law Randolph Vivian of Pound Cove; brothers Horwood Howell(Laura) of Manuels and Charlie Howell of Deadman's Bay; sisters Lillian Norris of Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay and Leah Jefferies of Lewisporte; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 25 at 2 P.M. at Trinity United Church, Newtown. Interment will follow at St. Thomas United Church Cemetery, Pound Cove.
