Evelyn Myra Ackerman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Saturday, March 4, 2023 Evelyn Myra Ackerman age 78 years of Wareham.

Predeceased by her husband Samuel; parents Lewis and Maude Glover; brothers Arthur, Roland and James; sister Maggie; grandson Andrew Hunt; brothers in-law Jack and Bert; sisters in-law Viola, Sally and Dorothy.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her sons Shawn (Joann) and Sheldon (Sharon); daughters Sharon (Michael), Sueann (Kevin) and Samantha (Palmer); grandchildren Brandon (Kevin), Shay (Sydney), Donilda (Sheldon), Brandie, Kaitlin (Scott), Kelsey (Christopher), Michaela (Brandon), Kiera (Justin), Kaley and Chloe (Matthew); great-grandchildren Amelia, Mila, Noah, Emerson and Lydia; brothers Herbert (Sadie), Willis (Josephine) and Lloyd (Mary Ellen); and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Wareham on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.; Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from  2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Wareham.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations  in Evelyn's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
