It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Brookfield Hospital, Eva Abbott age 87 years of Musgrave Harbour. Pre-deceased by her husband Ernie, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and son-in-law Robert Wilson. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Curtis(Jane) of St. John's, three daughters Margaret Abbott(Allan) of Ottawa, Ont, Carol Sturge(Jack) of Gander, and Deanne Abbott of Ottawa, Ont, 1 brother-in-law Junior Goodyear, 3 sisters-in-law Mereida Abbott, Barbara Pinsent, and Alisha Abbott, 4 grandchildren Carla Cheeks(Gary), Samantha, Shane, Roger(Veronique), 5 great-grandchildren Matthew, Ciara, Juliette, Naomi and Lily-Rose, and also a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 15th at 2pm from the United Church in Musgrave Harbour with Rev, George Kean officiating. Interment to follow from the United Church Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
