It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Lakeside Homes, Gander, Ethel Mary Chaulk age 96 years of Carmanville.
She will forever be known as "Mother" by all of her family.
Predeceased by her parents George and Priscilla Morgan; husband Dolph; son Walter; brothers Simon Morgan, Herbert (Dorothy), Stanley (Annie), Andrew (Dorcas) and Edward (Effie); sisters Ada Morgan, Hariett (Everett) Tulk and Elizabeth (George) Coles.
Leaving to mourn with wonderful loving memories are her sons Don (Eileen) of Carmanville and Wade (Joyce) of Carmanville; daughter Ivy Stockley (Tom) of St. John's; daughter-in law Judy Chaulk of Carmanville; grandchildren Loretta Osmond (Nolan), Seymour Chaulk (Beverley), Sheldon Chaulk (Vanessa), Carollynn Chaulk (Jamie), Viola Whalen (Neil), Wanda Moore (Wayne), Leroy Chaulk (April), Marlene Wheaton, Charmaine Bown (Bryce), Debbie Chaulk, Sherry Nippard (Mitchell), Tommy Stockley (Valerie), Tony Stockley (Tanya), Cathy Efford (George), Debbie Templeman (Randy), Lisa-Lynn Masters (Bradley); 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Carmanville on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12 noon - 4 p.m. (Family) & 7 - 9 p.m. (Public); Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 10 a.m. -12 noon, 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. (Public).
Funeral service officiated by Pastor Junior Roberts will take place at Bethel Pentecostal Church on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Lakeside Homes for the wonderful love and care that she received in the last days of her life.
